‘Town & Country’ Social Ride – Sat 22 Oct

Join the BACC team for a relaxed group ride

We just wanted to let you know that we’re organising another social ride in a few weeks’ time. This won’t be a guided/managed ride like the last few have been, but instead a slightly longer route for the more confident riders among you.

The theme will be ‘Town & Country’, and it’s going to encompass the area around Steart Marshes and the lower Quantock Hills.

Hopefully the weather will hold out for us on the day, but whatever it brings, you can be sure we’ll have fun!

The ride starts at Morrisons at 10:00 am. The route passes through the south & west of Bridgwater, takes in some of the lower Quantocks AONB, then northwards to the Steart peninsula, where we’ll circumnavigate the WWT nature reserve. We will be stopping in Combwich for home-made cakes and refreshments before heading back into town.

The total distance is 25 miles. If that sounds daunting, fear not! As many of our past participants can testify, the miles just fly by when you’re enjoying yourself!

Places are limited to twelve riders, so if you would like to come along, just drop us an email. See you there!
