Bridgwater Area Cycling Campaign (BACC) is a local group working together to promote better transport routes for pedestrians, bicycle riders and other vulnerable road users. If more people cycle and walk, there will be fewer cars trying to move around the area.
It’s a win-win!
Our aims
Safety
Concerning ourselves with vulnerable road users, reduction in speed limits and assessing local areas for risk to personal safety.
Communication
We will raise awareness of our work through a range of media and build good relationships in our community.
Infrastructure
Through local knowledge and audit information we will influence improvements to new and existing routes, mapping and signage.
Behavioural Change
We will promote the benefits of physical activity. Walking and cycling is healthy and should be encouraged.
Our partners
